Seven intact lustre-painted stonepaste bowls and one mug imported from Iran between the mid-12th and the early 13th century, belonging to three main stylistic groups. The decoration is painted, reserved and/or incised through lustre over the opaque white glaze; it variedly combines human figures, animals, vegetal and geometric motifs, architectural elements in one case, and epigraphic bands. The texts are composed in various styles of Kufic or curvilinear script, in Arabic or Persian, and range from love quatrains and well-wishing verses to benedictory formulae.

The treasure of lustrewares was found in 1957 inside a cache of room II in the House of Lustrewares., probably sealed before the Mongol attack on Ghazni in 1221.
