Early 13th century

Lustre-painted stonepaste conical bowl, slightly flaring profile, low carination, foot ring. Dark olive green-brown lustre colour. Complete.

Interior decoration: band with incised inscription (1), framed below by a painted horizontal stripe with small strokes; plain band. Medallions featuring painted flying birds (duck type) on scrollwork, incised star-in-circle motifs and spirals in the spandrels; the band has a upper scalloped edge with radial arrow-shaped motifs. Band with incised inscription (2). Roundel framed by a painted horizontal stripe with small strokes, featuring geometric interlacing pattern on scrollwork.

Exterior decoration: band with incised inscription (3), framed below by a painted horizontal stripe with small strokes; plain band; painted band with upper scalloped edge and radial arrow-shaped motifs; two horizontal stripes.
