Dado panel
Marble
Bas-relief

11th - first half 12th c.

Very small fragment of the main section of a dado panel. The decoration is composed of one section with a sequence of interlaced trilobated arches alternating with vertical motifs created by split-palmettes and fleur-de-lis. The arches enclose an incised vegetal motif. Round shallow hole in the trilobated arch (not trespassing). This type might have been used as an architectural dado or as a tomb paneling.
