Dado panel
Marble
Bas-relief

11th - first half 12th c.

The decoration is composed of one section with a sequence of interlaced trilobated arches. They are set against a vegetal pattern of interlaced half-palmettes and fleur-de-lis; each trilobated arch includes one superimposed fleur-de-lis in a tree-like vegetal composition. Narrow plain stripes frame the upper and lower border of the dado, while a larger plain stripe frames the lateral side. Corroded. Right side missing. This type might have been used as an architectural dado or as a tomb paneling.
