17th c.

Base of column composed of a truncated pyramid (with a square base) developing into a polygonal shape. The decoration consists of a polylobated pointed arch carved on each face; the arch is surmounted by a fleur-de-lis. The upper face of the base contains a round hole for inserting a wooden column.
