Fragment of a very thick opaque turquoise monochrome tile, with cut straight edges. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25). The glaze has many crackles. A thick dense drop of glaze is visible in the rear surface. The rear surface is uneven and quite rough. Traces of the bedding mortar are preserved in one fracture. One edge is very well smoothed and seems to have been cut during the modelling. Indeed, the preserved part of the tile apparently has the shape of one point of a star-shaped tile, but it most probably belong to a tile with another shape, that was intentionally cut before the glazing and the firing, possibly to fit into a larger panelling or a sequence of tiles.
