Plain tile
Fired clay
Mould

Late 11th - early 13th c.

Fragment of a green monochrome tile, with lightly oblique edges, cut upward. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25). The rear surface is uneven and rough and shows small shallow depressions, very close each other, probably made for a firmer bedding of the tile into the architectural surface. No photographic documentation is preserved.
