Late 11th - early 13th c.

Fragment of a red monochrome (probably square) tile, with cut straight edges. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the unglazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 11). The front surface is cracked and shows a clay lump emerging from the surface. The red wash unevenly covers the front surface, leaving many portions unslipped, as a results they have an orangish colour. The glaze is good and glossy. Two very small green drops are visible on the front surface. The rear surface is even and smooth, but partially cracked.
