Late 12th - early 13th c.
Small fragment of a mustard monochrome square tile. The rear surface is uneven and rough. Moulded relief decoration probably representing a passant quadruped in profile, facing the dexter side; only one hind foot is visible. The central motif is enclosed in a beaded frame. None of the tiles of the House of Lustreware was found in situ, therefore their use remains uncertain. An ongoing study conducted by A. Fusaro re-examines the topic on the basis of the archaeological data.
