Late 12th - early 13th c.

More than half of a monochrome hexagonal tile, in the shape of elongated hexagon, with cut straight edges. The tile is made of a fine ceramic body, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 26). The tile is overfired, the glaze turns black, but it was probably originally (opaque) turquoise. The rear surface is quite uneven. Moulded relief decoration probably representing a running hare in profile, facing the left side. The central motif is framed by a simple fillet. It can be possibly considered a waster or a second-rate defective item.
