Late 12th - early 13th c.
Fragment of a yellow monochrome hexagonal tile, in the shape of regular hexagon, with lightly oblique edges, cut downward. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25). The glaze is speckled. The surface of the relief decoration is worn out, with no more slip or glaze. The rear surface is uneven and rough. A small portion of one broken fracture has been intentionally smoothed. Moulded relief decoration representing a bud, probably belonging to the pattern "triangle and buds" or "lozenge and buds" (central triangle or lozenge from which there sprout six shoots with buds, alternately bare or with two leaves at the base). The central motif is framed by a simple fillet.
