Late 12th - early 13th c.

Fragment of a yellow monochrome hexagonal tile, in the shape of regular hexagon, with lightly oblique edges, cut downward. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25). The surfaces in relief of the decoration are completely worn out, with no more slip or glaze. The rear surface is uneven and rough. Burning traces are visible on both surfaces. Moulded relief decoration representing a three-leaved palmette or a bud with two leaves at the base. The central motif is framed by a simple fillet. The central motif is unusual, it could belong to vegetal scrolls or the patterns "triangle and buds"/"lozenge and buds".
