Late 12th - early 13th c.

Small fragment of a russet monochrome hexagonal tile, in the shape of regular hexagon, with cut straight edges. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25). The glaze turns darker, because the tile is burnt. The rear surface is even and smooth. Moulded relief decoration probably representing a central equilateral triangle from which there sprout six shoots with buds, alternately bare or with two leaves at the base. The central motif is framed by a simple fillet.
