Late 12th - early 13th c.

More than half of a russet monochrome hexagonal tile, in the shape of regular hexagon, with cut straight edges. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25). The front surface is partially broken. The red coating is thicker than usual, like a proper slip. It completely covers also the rear surface. The glaze is quite glossy but rough. The rear surface is even and smooth. Moulded relief decoration representing a central equilateral triangle from which there sprout six shoots with buds, alternately bare or with two leaves at the base. The central motif is framed by a simple fillet.
