Late 12th - early 13th c.
Almost half of a yellow monochrome hexagonal tile, in the shape of regular hexagon, with cut straight edges. The sides of the hexagon are uneven, with different length. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25). The glaze shows a white alteration layer and is covered by an earthy deposit. The rear surface is quite even. Moulded relief decoration representing a small central lozenge (or triangle?) from which there sprout buds, alternately bare or with two leaves at the base. The buds have the flared leaves pointing downwards, while usually they are depicted pointing upwards. The central motif is framed by a simple fillet. The decoration is rendered in high relief, with bold and quite thick lines.
