Late 12th - early 13th c.
Fragment of a green monochrome tile, with cut straight edges. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25). The rear surface is uneven and rough and bears small shallow depressions/notches, very close each other, made with a tool probably for a firmer bedding of the tile into the architectural surface. Moulded relief decoration, the motif cannot be identified due to the small dimensions of the item. The central motif is framed by a simple fillet. The decoration is rendered in high relief.
