Late 12th - early 13th c.

Fragment of a green monochrome square tile, with cut straight edges. Fine fabric, very similar to the one identified for the unglazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 10). The slip unevenly covers the front surface, leaving some parts unslipped, as a result they appear darker. The rear surface is even and smooth. The tile is slightly overfired. Moulded relief decoration possibly representing a bird (cock?) in profile, facing the left side; only the head is visible. The central motif is framed by a simple fillet. The moulded decoration is rendered in high relief.
