Late 12th - early 13th c.

Fragmentary mustard monochrome square tile, with cut straight edges. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 26). The glaze is speckled. The rear surface is uneven but smooth and light-coloured. Moulded relief decoration representing a hare in profile, facing the dexter side; a half-moon motif is visible above its back. The animal is enclosed in a circular medallion, small curved leaves filling the triangular spaces between the medallion and the outer square beaded frame.
