Late 12th - early 13th c.
Almost complete large mustard monochrome square tile, with cut straight edges; only a small corner is lost. Fine fabric, very similar to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25, with more white inclusions). The glaze is speckled and badly altered, appearing matt and rough. The front surface peeled, with the flaking of most of the glaze. The rear surface is uneven and rough. Moulded relief decoration representing a running antelope in profile, facing the left side, its forefeet in the air; a little bird is visible just below the animal. The central motif is framed by an octagonal fillet whose sides extended so as to meet those of the nearby tiles, and form a geometrically intertwining pattern.
