Fragment of a large thick red monochrome octagonal tile, with lightly oblique edges, cut downward. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25). The glaze has green tinges in one spot of the front surface, probably because some green glaze drops fell on it. The front surface is partially broken. The rear surface is even and quite smooth. Moulded relief decoration, only the external octagonal frame is preserved. It consists of pseudo-epigraphic bands interspaced with trefoil palmettes. According to identical tiles, the central motif comprises a lozenge from which there sprout alternately upright long buds and overturned trefoil palmettes, joined together by a fillet to form a wreath.
