Late 12th - early 13th c.

Half of a red monochrome hexagonal tile, in the shape of regular hexagon, with cut straight edges. Fine fabric, identical to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25). The rear surface is even and smooth, but cracked. This pattern is very unusual within the Ghazni tiles corpus; it is similar to that of the tile C3419. The central motif is difficult to be identified, it could possibly represent vegetal scrolls with trefoil leaves inside a central circular medallion or a zoomorphic motif. The tile is unframed.
