Late 12th - early 13th c.

Central part of a thick opaque turquoise monochrome hexagonal tile, in the shape of elongated hexagon, with cut straight edges. Fine fabric, very similar to the one identified for the glazed vessels of the Ghazni pottery corpus (Fabric no. 25). The glaze thickens particularly in the spaces among the lines in relief, thus making more difficult the readability of the pattern. The rear surface is even and smooth. Moulded relief decoration representing a frieze of vegetal scrolls. The central motif is framed by a simple fillet.
