Late 12th - early 13th c.

Complete opaque turquoise square tile, with cut straight edges. The glaze is not properly opacified. The rear surface is even and smooth and shows small shallow depressions, very close each other, probably made for a firmer bedding into the architectural surface. Moulded relief decoration representing a rampant gazelle in profile, facing the dexter side, its forefeet in the air, showing a large tail raised with a vegetal end. The central motif is enclosed in a beaded frame.
