Late 12th - early 13th c.

Large fragmentary russet monochrome square tile. The red wash unevenly covers the front surface, as a result some portions appear orangish. The glaze is matt. Moulded relief decoration representing a rampant antelope in profile, facing the left side, with its forefeet in the air. The animal shows two long horns. It is probable that below the animal there is also something else, probably a little bird, but the relief is too low to identify it. The central motif is framed by an octagonal fillet whose sides extended so as to meet those of the nearby tiles, and form a geometrically intertwining pattern.
