Late 12th - early 13th c.

Two matching fragments of a russet monochrome hexagonal tile, in the shape of regular hexagon. The red wash unevenly covers the front surface, leaving one side unslipped, as a result it acquires an orangish colour. The rear surface is uneven and rough and shows a groove, probably made with a knife. Moulded relief decoration representing a central equilateral triangle, from which there sprout six shoots with buds, alternately bare or with two leaves at the base. The central motif is framed by a simple fillet.
