Late 12th - early 13th c.

Small fragment of an olive green monochrome hexagonal tile, in the shape of regular hexagon. Light-coloured ceramic body. The rear surface is even and smooth, but it bears two shallow grooves, possibly made on purpose to firmly bed the tile into the architectural surface. Moulded relief decoration representing a bud, belonging to the pattern with a central equilateral triangle from which there sprout six shoots with buds, alternately bare or with two leaves at the base. The central motif is framed by a simple fillet.
