Late 12th - early 13th c.

Fragment of a red monochrome square tile. The red wash unevenly covers the surface, as a result some spots have a yellowish colour. Small parts in relief of the decoration are worn out, with no more slip or glaze. The rear surface is uneven, and it shows small shallow depressions, very close each other, and thick lumps of the bedding mortar. Moulded relief decoration representing a passant quadruped in profile, facing the dexter side, only the forefeet are visible. The central motif is enclosed in a beaded frame.
