Late 12th - early 13th c.

Fragment of a mustard monochrome square tile. The slip unevenly covers the surfaces in relief of the decoration as well as the frame, as a result some portions appear darker. The glaze is good and glossy. The rear surface is quite uneven and rough. Moulded relief decoration representing a gazelle in profile, facing the dexter side, showing a large tail raised with a vegetal end. The animal is probably rampant, with one forefoot in the air. The central motif is enclosed in a beaded frame.
