Fragment of a red monochrome hexagonal tile, in the shape of regular hexagon. The red wash unevenly covers the front surface; as a result, many spots show an orangish colour. The glaze is colourless with yellowish tinges. Moulded relief decoration representing a central triangle from which there sprout six shoots with buds, alternately bare or with two leaves at the base. The central motif is framed by a simple fillet. The decoration is slightly different from the most common "triangle and buds" pattern found in many tiles, because the central triangle is smaller and is characterized by concave sides, while usually it is larger and with straight sides, and the buds have the flared leaves pointing downwards, while usually they are depicted pointing upwards. Considering these features, this decoration is closer to the "lozenge and buds" pattern (see, for example, C3422, IG6217).
