High facings, composed by rectangular and sometimes L-shaped panels carved in bas-relief. The decoration shows a geometric or vegetal pattern in the main field, most often framed by an inscribed band. The inscriptions include honorific titles; historical texts, religious and benedictory inscriptions are also attested.
Most artifacts were found re-employed in the Ghazni area in 1957 and 1958, or excavated in the Ghaznavid palace; some were recorded in the Ghazni and Kabul storerooms in 2002 and 2004.
