Dado carved in bas-relief (type 27). This type is represented by one fragmentary specimen. The existing decoration is composed of two horizontal sections: the upper sections with a sequence of alternating fleur-de-lis, the lower section with a sequence of trilobated arches and vegetal motifs or patterns.
The height is 20.5 cm, its width 27 cm; its maximum thickness is 6.3 cm.
The artifact was first recorded at the Museo Nazionale d’Arte Orientale “G. Tucci” in Rome; it came from Ghazni.
Type 27 might have been used as an architectural dado or as a tomb paneling.
