Dado carved in bas-relief (type 18). This type is represented by a single fragmentary specimen. The existing decoration is composed of two horizontal sections: the upper section consists of an epigraphic band in cursive script, the middle section of a sequence of interlaced trilobated arches. The arches are set against a vegetal pattern of interlaced half-palmettes and fleur-de-lis.
The height of the panel is 55 cm (incomplete), its width is 48 cm; its thickness is 5 cm.
The artifact was excavated in the Ghaznavid palace in 1959.
