Bodhisattva; deity
Brown clay; black paint; inferable: wood (inner armature)
Very high relief; decorative plaque obtained from mould; completed by engraving
H: 12,5; W: 9; D: 9 cm
Late period

Head of a bodhisattva or deva. Hair rendered by short and deep grooves, with decorative plaques on the sides and above forehead. Black paint on hair. Cavity left by a disappeared wooden inner armature.
