Lokapala
Brown clay; red paint; inferable: wood (tenon)
Very high relief; completed by engraving
H: 6,2; W: 4,5 cm
Late period

Head of a lokapala with demoniac features: protruding eyes, deeply frowned eyebrows. Hair in wavy grooves above, thickly curled round the face. Red paint: concerned position not indicated in the inventory. Probable traces left by wooden tenon on the back.
