Very high relief; locks of hair obtained from mould
H: 14; W: 8 cm
Late period
Head of a Buddha with half-closed bulging eyes and hair rendered by rows of applied locks; separate usnisa bound by a string at base with round central plaque. Cavity left by a disappeared wooden tenon or inner armature on the back.
