Kneeling or flying deity

Very high relief; decorative plaque obtained from mould; completed by engraving

Late period
Deity (fragment) flying or kneeling towards the right, wearing a paridhana and a thin girdle decorated with a brooch-like plaque in the shape of a beaded rosette surrounded by (swirled?) circular elements. Red paint on the paridhana. Trace of a disappeared wooden inner armature. Partially blackened by accidental fire.
