Very high relief; decorative element worked separately then fixed to the figure

Late period
Naked torso of a bodhisattva or deity with short, tree strand necklace with pendant between two symmetrical spiral-like motifs. Cavities left by a disappeared wooden inner armature visible in the sections exposed by the fractures.
