Bodhisattva
Brown clay; black paint; wood (inner armature)
Very high relief; locks of hair and decorative plaques obtained from mould 17m9 and 17m1 respectively

Late period
Head of a bodhisattva with hair bound by a double garland held on the knot, decorated with rows of plaques, with a lock of hair in a “palmette style” (variant of mould 17m8) above forehead. Black paint on hair. Wooden inner armature preserved.
