Very high relief; completed by engraving
H: 12,5; W: 9,8 cm
Late period
Head of a Buddha. Hair with rows of short incisions alternating with continuous grooves radiating from the peak over forehead; separate usnisa with round central plaque. Long earlobes. Black paint on hair; red paint on face. Cavities left by disappeared wooden tenons on the back.
