Early period 2
Jar with everted, vertical-sided grooved rims. Medallion-stamp decoration on the shoulder showing a cross pattern, with concentrical grooved decoration below the neck. Traces of a black-painted Brahmi inscription (one-line reading "Kanika mahārāja vihāra", “the temple of the Great King Kanishka”), ending in a wheel-shaped design. Brown paint on surface.
