Celebrating the discovery of Lashkari Bazar and the work of Daniel Schlumberger on occasion of 100 years of activities of the Délégation Archéologique Française en Afghanistan, the paper addressed in a comparative way the Southern Palace and the Ghaznavid Palace excavated in Ghazni by the Italian Archaeological Mission in Afghanistan.
